Demo Mode for evaluators

What it includes​

Demo Mode is an isolated environment for evaluating PlexSub with safe, representative, fake data and simulated services.

What it must not include​

Never include production users, real tokens, payment data, private media servers, real email delivery, or private network targets.

When to use it​

Use Demo Mode for product reviews, screenshots, feature demonstrations, and evaluation feedback—not for production operations.

What to review​

Review admin flows, the Customer Portal, integrations, requests, subscriptions, responsive design, wording, and error states.

Sharing a demo​

Use separate demo credentials, HTTPS, an isolated hostname, and a controlled reset process. Explain clearly that all data is fictitious.

Evaluator feedback​

Ask evaluators to describe the flow, expected result, actual result, browser/device, and safe screenshots without credentials or personal data.

Reset​

Reset the demo regularly so one evaluator's changes do not affect another. Keep reset data separate from production volumes and databases.

Checklist​

  • Fake data only.
  • Separate credentials and infrastructure.
  • No private network targets.
  • Reset documented and tested.
  • HTTPS enabled.
  • No real provider secrets.
