Tautulli integration
Purpose
Tautulli provides Plex analytics: active sessions, users, libraries, and playback history. In PlexSub it is beta, optional, and recommended.
It appears in PlexSub at:
- Admin:
/tautulli - Customer Portal: playback history, usage, and notices
Requirements
- Plex configured.
- Tautulli connected to Plex.
- A Tautulli URL reachable from PlexSub.
- A valid API key.
Related variables: TAUTULLI_URL and TAUTULLI_API_KEY.
Dependencies
The service registry declares a dependency on Plex.
Recommended configuration
- Confirm Tautulli works outside PlexSub.
- Check that Tautulli receives Plex activity.
- Configure the URL and API key in PlexSub.
- Run diagnostics.
- Review history and usage with a test user.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Resolution |
