PlexSub Core and PlexSub Pro

PlexSub is planned in two editions: PlexSub Core and PlexSub Pro. Core is free and useful for real self-hosted installations. Pro will unlock advanced capabilities for operators who need more automation, billing, maintenance, and diagnostics.

PlexSub Core

Core includes Plex and Jellyfin; Seerr and Jellyseerr; local users and user mappings; native invitations; basic read-only Arr information and diagnostics; basic qBittorrent status and ownership; basic Tautulli, Tracearr, and Jellystat analytics; basic email, SMTP and Web Push notifications; basic automation; MFA, sessions, authentication, rate limits and audit; manual database exports and backups; plus basic incidents and support.

Core does not include dangerous actions, bulk actions, or advanced maintenance.

PlexSub Pro

Pro is intended for operators needing advanced capabilities: subscriptions and payment providers; full Arr and qBittorrent operations; advanced analytics, reports, alerts, and dashboards; Wizarr; advanced email templates and branding; Discord, Telegram, Apprise, advanced push and workflows; scheduled maintenance and cleanup policies; partial white label; advanced operations, audit, and backup tooling; referrals; and future bulk actions, advanced policies, and workflows.

General rule

Core will always work without a licence because it is self-hosted. Pro features will require a valid Pro licence when licensing is introduced. Licence validation will connect only to the licence server and is designed not to send private application data beyond public IP, instance name, and licence number. Future advanced features are considered Pro unless explicitly decided otherwise.
